Season3は空からの霊柩車、第三の兆候、最後の誓いの３話。
再びジョンの前に姿を現す第１話から、とにかくシャーロックがジョンのことを好きなんだなという全体の印象。
中でも好きだったのはジョンの結婚式の第２話。

ジョンの妻のメアリーも、シャーロックとジョンの関係をわかった上で見守る、とても素敵な芯のある女性。色々と秘密を抱えていることがわかってくるけれど、３人のコンビも良い感じ。
シャーロックと同じように能力が高く、また友人などいないマイクロフトとの対比もここに来て面白い。似たもの同士の兄弟だからこそ対立もし、選ぶ道も違う。
いくらジョンとメアリーの為とはいえ、終わりはよく分からない感じだった。
最後のシーズンではモリアーティの残党との対決が待っている。
